Austin Linton
Austin Linton is the co-host of Central Vision Podcast and founder of Rare Perspective Co, a brand focused on changing how blindness and vision loss are seen and talked about. Diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa in his mid-20s, Austin brings firsthand experience, humor, and an unfiltered perspective to conversations about blindness, identity, independence, and the parts of vision loss people don’t always see.
Austin also serves on the board of the Columbus chapter of the Foundation Fighting Blindness and is actively involved in advocacy, community outreach, and creating stronger connections within the blind and low-vision community. Whether behind the mic or through Rare Perspective Co, his goal is simple: create honest conversations, challenge assumptions, and help people see blindness from a different perspective.
